Yorkshire Dales 12th May

Sun was out to play and so was Andy & Karen, Val & Brian, Paul & Nicola, Walter & Jo, Jim & Angela, Jimmy Loud-pipes, Mark, Paul, Moz, Ian, Stephen, John and our guest Victory rider Gary. 19 people on 15 bikes… loving it 🥰

What a belting ride across the Yorkshire Dales but obviously there was the obligatory left, right, right and fooking dead end🤪 and of all places in a middle of a council estate ffs.

Anyway the A59 and then through Sawley was a great way to arrive at our first stop where Walter, Stephen and our newest member John was waiting for us. Quick drinks and we were off to find the B6479, now that’s a road to be ridden more often, great views of the Yorkshire hills and no traffic until we joined the main biker route B6255 into Hawes and then our lunch stop (well that’s another story🤦🏻😎)

Time was getting on with Adhoc tours of council estates and food that came out at snails pace. The decisions by a few to head homeward bound.

The hardcore lot kept with me onto the Sun In at Norwood. Again fabulous roads leading up there for a well deserved drink and snacks.

Bingley Road was shocking at the start giving us a right good rattling but thankfully the road smoothed off and more great views before we ended up on the main drag through Crosshills and then into Colne to join the M65.

Great call by Jimmy Loud-pipes to don waterproofs as the clouds were surely looming.

Thank you all for your patience and a special thank you to Andy & Karen for holding the fort at the back and Jim Scott for being our camera man.

Great day out hopefully the weather will be good for you all on the next one.🙏🏼
