The day started dry but come the event, the precipitation was making an appearance for the 1st time in 7 years, but this did not quell the crowds, and again, in excess of 1000 local folk came to remember the fallen of conflicts and wars past, and to thank our serving Forces
Initially, those laying a wreath for serving locals were laid. Then myself, representing RBLR and Karen who was representing for the 1st time MCO Riders to lay our wreaths. It really is such an honour to take part in Remembrance and one I will always take time to honour our fallen.
It was an amazing honour to introduce ‘Grandad’, a local WWII Para veteran hero of D-Day, to the group and to show him some proper bikes after the service.
