Another successful weekend MCO Riders meets The Foundry and Krazy Horse B St E. A weekend arranged many months ago but put together in a last minute effort, and it was a massive hit. The MCO Riders after various miss matches of meeting places lol took the all A roads down to our weekend stay at The Dragonfly Hotel. Fantastically located just of the A14 and a 20 min walk to Bury St. Edmunds, unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for the staffing and food issues at the hotel but at least it was comfortable.
Great meeting up with Ady & all our friends of the The Foundry again for our annual get together. Friday we spent the night in the hotel bar, which resulted in the usual banter and mayhem between the groups. Saturday came where we were meeting up with Ray & other members of Krazy Horse Bury St. Edmunds. In all there was 30 bikes in a convoy, with Ray taking us round some stunning parts of Suffolk finishing off at KH to part with our hard earned cash purchasing Indian Motorcycle apparel. The evening was spent in different groups, some to the local steak house, curry house and some electing to stay in the hotel with us who went out meeting back for the evening entertainment.
Donations were made to purchase prizes. This event in the past 2 years has resulted in The Foundry taking the bulk of the prizes, but on this occasion, it was a 17-17 draw. Again a great night where we shared the donations between each groups charities. North West Air Ambulance and Prostate Cancer with £135 going to each charity. Sunday dawned and with breakfast consumed it was time to say our goodbyes again.
Next years get together should be an epic adventure, but more of that early next year. Massive thanks to Ray Worster of Krazy Horse B St. E for leading us on an amazing ride out Saturday, and to all the members who came out to make us all very welcome. Thanks also to Ady Hayes and all the members of The Foundry who came to meet us, and to the MCO Riders who made the weekend it was.
