North Wales 7th April
Well……another, absolutely fantastic day with the MCO Family

Firstly can I thank all members who attended today’s ride led by our very own VP Andrew Staton
We started our day with meeting at Poplar 2000 services at 8.30am with a stands up by 9am and away into beautiful Wales……
We were anticipating some of the wet stuff today…..but no cigar, sunshine all the way, well apart from a short burst of grey skies going through the Snowdonian national park. The wind was exceptionaly strong though, even horrendous in parts where it caught a few of us off guard & glided us across the road, but all good fun and part of the enjoyment of being out together riding….
We breakfasted at The Ponderosa, held tight to the flag for our group photo
, before heading out again down through the horseshoe pass, Corwen, Betws-y–coed and the Snowdondian National park before stopping for Lunch. After, what can only be described as a lovely location but very disappointing service & food…..that stop will be scratched off the list of future rides
, we set off again up towards Bangor and the final leg to our last stop at BP service station, Holywell to say our goodbyes until next time………..

Thank you so much to the following members for making it yet another memorable ride……
Brian Harrington Val Harrington Mark Anyon Jim Scott Mal David Stephen Morris and our guest for the day David Moynihan
We did 159 miles in total……..
