Breakfast Run 9th March

Breakfast run and add on to Ludlow for Lunch led by Mr VP…….
The day started at Poplar 2000 services where we met up with Tony Cheung Val Harrington Brian Harrington Brian Hamblin and Jim Scott . After a quick chat we headed of at 9am to meet up with Stephen Kevin Morris at The Old Stores motorcycle cafe for breakfast. After a thorough warm and a hearty breakfast we said our goodbyes to Digit and Steve and headed off for Shropshire. This first part of the trip turned out to be a bit of off roading, I believe Val had request this when Andy was planning the run , and a few, of what can only be described as hairy moments…mud on the road and some skillful handling of the bike whilst skating across the said mud. After which it was decided bugger the scenic route and the sat nav was altered to stick us to the sensible roads . We had a good run then to the Ludlow Kitchen for lunch, which was yummy! And another good warm and laugh before heading out again to start our journey home….We hit the M54 and M6 to get home a bit quicker! We stopped at Stafford services where we said goodbye to Jim who was taking the scenic route home, and Andy, myself, Val, Bri and Tony had coffee before saying our goodbyes until next time……
