Carding Shed Breakfast Run 27th April

Our day started with meeting up at Poplar 2000 services, Lynm…….
We were joined here by Paul and Nicola Barrie who I had invited to come along with us for a ride to see if they liked what they saw before becoming fully fledged members. I’m happy to report that they did, and our banter didn’t put them off, even the discussion on gimp masks, and butt plugs at Steel city didn’t dampen their enthusiasm 😂 Even though they did look a bit worried at one point 😳 😂 Your fault Mark 😂😘
After a good chat, and group photo with the flag we headed off for Holmfirth…….
The route took us through Knutsford, Alderley Edge,Stockport, Hazel Grove,Mottram,Woodhead and finally Dunford Bridge where we reached our breakfast stop…..
The scenery was as always stunning once we got out into the countryside. Hopefully Tony has captured all this on film. We did, though, all feel rather chilly riding over the moors into Holmfirth, and we were all definitely ready for a warm and some refreshments.
After a hearty breakfast, hot drink and lots of great banter, as always, we headed out again for our brew stop at Steel city classics, where they were having their demo day……
After yet more great banter , a look around the shop, and a hot drink we all said our goodbyes until next time……
