Breakfast ride to The Yonderman cafe…..total mileage 82 …….
Our meet up point for the breakfast ride was at Poplar 2000 services, Lymm. We arranged a 8.45 am meet with stands up at 9 am. We actually managed to head off a slight bit earlier as we were all there early and fueled up ready to hit the road.
We headed off towards Buxton, passing through Handforth, Whaley Bridge, and chapel-en-le-frith before arriving at our destination around 10.05 am. We managed to grab a few benches as it was extremely busy! There was quite a wait for food, which Val then proceeded to knock the score down from 10 to 9 because of it 😆 It was very nice when it did eventually arrive though. After we all filled our bellies and had a good old natter and a laugh we left the Younderman for our extended ride down to steel city for their classic bike show. We rode down through Calver, Baslow and Upper Newbold before arriving at our destination. Here we got our brews and then the lovely Val got out a yummy chocolate cake which made the charity a very tidy little sum of £51. Amazing 👏🏻 🤩 Thank you Val 😘
