*Breakfast ride to Cafe Ambio, with an extended ride around Coniston and Windermere for those that wanted to *
Saturday 3rd August…….total mileage 142……
We started the day by meeting at 8.30 am at The Mount Hotel, Orrell. After a quick chat we headed off for breakfast, hitting the M6 to get up there a bit quicker. We arrived at Cafe Ambio at about 10ish. After selecting seats outside ,as it was lovely and sunny, we enjoyed a good cooked breakfast accompanied by lots of great banter, as always! After breakfast Mal unfortunately had to peel off leaving the rest of us to carry on for Coniston and Windermere. After a beautifully scenic ride past the lakes we headed to our coffee break destination at Lower Sizergh barn farm cafe. Here we got talking to a guy who has just purchased his first Indian, an FTR….small world!
After a good gab Jim suggested with take the scenic route back instead of the M6, which we did for an hour but then decided to hit the M6 to get home……another fantastic MCO family day out
