Breakfast @ Apley Farm Shop Cafe
Breakfast ride to Apley farmshop cafe 18th May 2024………A total of 96 miles…….
The starting point was Sainsburys in Nantwich where we arranged to meet at 8.30 am with a stands up time of 8.45 am. Andy and I arrived to find our new member Ian already waiting. After all members had arrived and Andy had done his ride speech we headed off for breakfast. The route took us from Nantwich onto Market Drayton, Telford and Shifnal. We arrived at Apley farmshop cafe at 10.10 am where I was ordered off the bike and sent to get a table for 8 as it was starting to get busy 
When I say the food was excellent I’m not over playing it…..it was top class!!! And I have our food critic Val for proof of this as she scored the food & coffee 10/10 This will definitely be a revisit! After a good nosh up and some great banter, as always!, we headed off down to Mid West Moto’s demo day where Jim had a demo ride on a cheif limited. It didn’t start well as the pipes weren’t loud enough for him and when he came back he was definitely happy to see his trusty steed, so I don’t think there will be a sale there. After coffee and look around we headed off for our final stop at a petrol station just outside of Bridgnorth. Here the lovely Val got out her scrummy chocolate cake where we all devoured a big piece each and made £24.44 for our charity Friends of Red Marsh School. After saying our goodbyes we parted ways with Jim,Mark and Mal heading one way, and myself,Andy,Val,Bri and Ian heading another.
