Well ride out for today was slightly moist to say the least with only 4 hardy souls braving the weather.
Breakfast at the Mount which was fab with BOGOF and no I didn’t eat 2 portions
Set off to Blackpool airport up the A49 through Charnock Richard, then meandered up through Penwortham carrying on through Kirkham to arrive at Blackpool stopping right outside North West Air Ambulance base but not before a detour to Costa to shake the rain off. Ride was WET.
The journey down to Barton was reading as hour and a half. So we thought …… Two and half hours later, through two dozen large puddles which we swear we all spotted fish, plenty of gormless drivers obviously and you guessed it, lots of rain.
Apart from arriving dripping, the Barton Aerodrome was a very welcome stop with some very tasty food.
