Group Rules

MCO Riders rules & regulations.

  • In order to become a member of the IMRG MCO Riders you must first be a member of IMRG Europe and hold a valid membership number or a member of IMR. If you are not already a member you can do this by visiting https://imrgmember.eu/en/imrg/registration/
  • As a road user you have a responsibility to observe the highway code as well as all relevant statutory and legal obligations associated with riding a motorcycle on the road. This includes the fact it is your responsibility to hold valid motor insurance and that you motorcycle is in a safe and roadworthy condition.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure you have the riding ability to take part in a ride out.
  • You have a duty of care to your fellow riders and to other road users and pedestrians to act in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
    Be respectful of others in the group. MCO Riders operates a zero tolerance policy for bullying or discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion or sexual orientation.
  • Your ride at your own risk and MCO Riders and any other persons associated with the organisation of ride outs in general can take no responsibility for loss, damage or injury caused to persons or property.

Group Objectives

The Group’s objectives

  • To encourage friendship and camaraderie among Indian Motorcycle owners
  • To allow Indian Motorcycle owners/enthusiasts to experience the freedom of the open road through lawful and safe motorcycling riding activities and events.
  • To encourage safe riding for all members and to contribute and reflect positively to our local communities
  • To provide a means for individuals who ride Indian Motorcycles to participate with others who share like-minded interests.

Belonging to our motorcycle group means more than just paying membership fees, wearing patches and attending group functions. It also means that the rider has a responsibility for riding safely and courteously, all members lend a hand to those in distress and follow the rules of the road. Each rider/pillion is expected to become an active participant in group functions, activities, ride outs wherever possible and personal circumstances allow.

Membership

The President, Committee and/or Sponsoring Dealer has the right to cease membership at any point if they feel the ethos of the group is not being upheld

Your application to join MCO Riders will require confirmation that you consent to and will abide by these rules

Should a member resign and leave the Group or have their membership rescinded they undertake to return the MCO Riders Shoulder and chest bar. Only valid members are permitted to display the shoulder and chest bar.
