IMRG MCO Riders

Keith Ogden, our Founder and Dave Brown of MCO Bikes started muting the idea of an Official IMRG in late 2019; it was just before the global pandemic threw the world into a tailspin and essentially life went on hold.

Establishing the group took a side-line until in 2021 Dave and Keith picked the idea up again and MCO Riders was officially born, registered with IMRG Europe and a bank account opened for the group. I don’t think anyone from Keith and Dave to the rest of the ‘Facebook’ group as it originally was, quite knew how quickly we would become established. On set up we had 20 Indian Motorcycle Owners join almost immediately and in the course of the 2 plus years since we’ve more than doubled in membership. We’ve evolved too much more than just another riders group, we have a fabulous bunch of friends.

We aim to do one Group ride a month throughout the year March to November, plus breakfast rides and we’re looking to introduce summer evening rides for Food. Alongside weekend trips away both in the UK and to Europe.

Members are encouraged to share their own ad hoc rides as that way they may get some company.

We have some great links to other Riders groups, meeting up with them too.

Amongst our riders and pillions, we have some excellent cake makers (Andy and Tony) so there is often a choice on offer for a small donation to our annual charity.

We choose a different local charity each year to fundraise for and to the end of 2023 we have raised £6805 for these charities.

In 2024 we’ve chosen Friends of Red Marsh School (a special needs school) with an aim to raise funds for some specialist playground equipment.

We would love to have new members join and grow even more, please get in touch if you’d like to know more, Karen  our membership officer would love to hear from you.

MCO Riders - riders group with a passion for their Indian Motorcycles and riding near or far...

“We joined the IMRG MCO Group when I purchased an Indian Scout from MCO bikes. We met the group, joined in a few rides, started to get to know the members. We now have friends, people to ride and socialise with, but more than that – we all treat each other like family – real honest brothers and sisters we have become a part of”

what we do

our benefits

why choose us

Being part of MCO Riders is a great way to get that missing hint of novelty in your life. Each ride takes you to new places, makes you see new faces, and while each face comes with its own eccentricities, the one thing that remains a common thread among all is their love for rubber on tarmac and freedom.

Riding in a Group gives higher visibility. MCO Riders always ride in accordance with the rules of the road.

If the ride numbers warrant it, we operate a Second man drop off system to ensure no one gets lost.

All Riders are asked to carry ICE details in the case of an incident.

Our Group rides will take you to many places, along great riding routes and to many an eatery you may otherwise miss.

MCO riders have a fondness for good food, good coffee and cake; all of it undertaken with great banter and laughs.

Joining MCO Riders will lead you to a pool of new friends who share your passions and enjoy the camaraderie of shared experiences

MCO Riders has links to other Riding and IMRG groups both in the UK and abroad.

Joining us you become part of our family but also of this wider Group with a shared identity of being Indian Riders.
