Sad News

Hi folks,
It comes with a heavy heart that both myself and Sam have to announce the following statement.
After advising Dave Brown then Andy, Karen and Tony. We need to let you know that Sam and I, jointly have taken the decision that we are resigning from the Committee of MCO Riders with immediate effect.
In February this year (and not for the first time) I was intent on resigning but was talked/cajoled out if it by the committee saying to give it time after my heart scare.
However, in the intervening months it’s become clearer that in both of our hearts and heads we are simply no longer engaged in the way needed to take the Group further forward; to carry on would be a disservice to you to everyone in the Group.
We are eternally proud of how we started, how it’s developed and grown, but it’s time now for far more active and engaged folk to take it further.  The effect the last couple of years has had/is having on both our mental and my physical health. It’s no doubt been noticed that I haven’t been anywhere near as active nor happy this year, Sam has always been conscious that she can’t participate much at all.
Andrew Staton will be taking up the president role and I am sure you will all support him as you have done me.
For practical reasons, Sam will continue with the banking until a new Treasurer/secretary is appointed.
Our stepping down is the right decision for us both after 5 years, of which 3 have been intense in getting us properly established.
We’ve thought long and hard for several months. It’s not a snap decision and we’ve sought counsel from various folk. We will remain as members till December.
Thank you all for your ongoing support and friendship.
Love and thanks for everything
Keith & Sam xx

Dealer of the Year 2023

For outstanding IMR/IMRG contribution

Thanks to David Brown and his notification yesterday that MCO Riders has won the coverted IMRG of the Year.

To those folk, past and present, who has stepped up to the mark, and joining the committee, making decisions which has all been recognised by those in Indian/Polaris HQ.

Massive thanks to Dave and all those at MCO Bikes for believing in me at the outset when myself and Samantha Ogden set up MCO Riders, it was hard graft, but we got there, and some, and to the staff of MCO Motorcycles to assisting us members when things go slightly pear shaped with our bikes.

Then, to all you the Rider and Pillion members. I can’t describe how proud I am of everyone in this group who has joined in & taken part in all the events and has made the group it is today.

It really is good to be seen as the best UK IMRG of 2023

Thank you to you all

Keith Ogden
